The purpose of this policy is to establish a standard for the creation of strong passwords, the protection of those passwords, and the frequency of changing these passwords.

Sexual and moral misconduct are violations of a person’s rights, dignity and integrity, and such acts are contrary to the mission and values of The American University of Paris. AUP prohibits these violations and seeks to foster a climate free from misconduct through coordinated education and prevention programs, clear policies, and a prompt and accessible grievance procedure. This policy provides the AUP community with clear standards, definitions, and descriptions of prohibited conduct. It also identifies resources and support for the AUP community, and outlines the grievance process.

This policy was developed in order to help The American of University of Paris (AUP) faculty, staff and students avoid an actual or implied endorsement by AUP of non AUP organizations, products, services or activities, including lending their own names or the names of their departments or units, in a manner that could imply University endorsement. This policy refers to The American University of Paris name, the AUP acronym and the visual representations of the University logo or any variation thereof.

This policy ensures that all interactions through social media and on behalf of The American University of Paris (AUP) represent the University’s best interests. It defines the rules and procedures for the use of official University social media accounts to ensure that University-sponsored social media is both legal and in compliance with University policies.

This policy outlines the process by which The American University of Paris makes decisions regarding named gift opportunities for University buildings, facilities, faculty support funds, scholarships, prizes, centers or programs. It ensures consistency and fairness in recognizing individuals and institutions whose financial support has furthered the strategic direction of the University.

AUP is committed to creating fundraising opportunities that support the University’s mission and strategic ambitions. This policy articulates AUP guidelines and policies related to the solicitation and acceptance of charitable gifts by The American University of Paris and The American University of Paris Foundation.
