The Ceremony
This year’s commencement ceremony promises to be unforgettable. The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 23 in the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet in the heart of Paris. This year we will celebrate the classes of 2020 and 2021 along with the class of 2022.

Graduating students must arrive at the theater at 8:30 am sharp in order to line up. The ceremony will begin at 10am. Guests will be admitted at 9:30am. Tickets must be in hand as guests will need to be in possession of tickets to be let inside the theater. There is no assigned seating in the theater, with the exception of marked areas reserved for the President's guests. The ceremony will last about two and a half hours and will be followed by a reception. We ask that you are vigilant of your personal belongings to avoid an unpleasantness on this celebratory day.
Caps and Gowns
As of April 11, your caps and gowns will be available for you to collect at the AUP Bookstore), 2 passage Landrieu (Monday through Friday 10:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 16:00). You must collect your regalia by the end of the working day on Monday, May 6. Please keep in mind that the bookstore will be closed on April 18th (AUP & French national holidays).
Tickets
Pickup at: AUP Bookstore (2 bis, Passage Landrieu)
- As of April 11, each student may pick up 2 free tickets to the ceremony from the Bookstore. Graduating students do not need tickets for themselves. If you know that you will not use your free tickets, please make them available to others by leaving them with the Bookstore.
- As of April 11, 2 additional tickets may be purchased by each graduating student of the class of 2022 online for €60 each (the link has been communicated to you via email). You can then pick up your additional tickets from the Bookstore.
- Tickets can be collected at the Bookstore, Monday through Friday from 10:00-12:30 and 13:30-16:00.
