Volunteering is an excellent way to make your time in Paris meaningful beyond academics, and will instill unique skills for professional work after graduation. The AUP Student Leadership office has coordinated a variety of projects for students to give back to the community while developing valuable professional skills. For more information or to make suggestions for additional opportunities, please contact the Student Leadership office.

Student-Run Volunteering Associations
At the Student Leadership Office, we spend a lot of time meeting and working with students who are interested in getting "more involved" both on and off campus. Whether volunteering for their local AUP clubs AUP Cares and Roots & Shoots, working towards the revamping of the university's recycling program with student club AUP Green, or hosting a two day symposium on Human Rights Awareness, AUP students definitely want to make a difference. Working with such motivated and determined student groups, the need to create a committee that would encourage and promote community service more actively became evident. The Environmental and Community Services Committee (ECS) groups the three student clubs. Click on each club to find out what kind of volunteering opportunities they offer
