IT001EN - Information Technology Resources Rights, Privileges, & Acceptable Use

AUP owns its information technology resources, including computing and telecommunications networks, computing equipment, and information resources (see Definitions). The university provides these resources to support the academic and administrative functions of the institution, and it expects the responsible use of the same. All users of the university's information technology resources are expected to demonstrate the highest respect for the rights of others in their use of these resources.

IT006EN - Information Technology and Data Governance

The purpose of this document is to provide the terms of reference and structure for information technology and data governance (hereafter “IT and Data Governance”) at the American University of Paris (AUP). This framework provides a common basis for working with institutional data as a mission-critical university resource. It describes the lifecycle of data and information and the systems, products, projects, processes, policies, and responsibilities that relate to that lifecycle.

IT005EN - Data Resources, Access, Classification, and Usage

Information is one of the university's most valuable assets, and its value is increased through widespread and appropriate use. The university grants access to the greatest extent possible while recognizing the responsibility to secure data appropriately. Consistent with the university's obligation to preserve and protect such information by all appropriate means, access to information is made available only where there exists a valid business purpose.

GO006EN - Leadership Team Conflict of Interest

The Leadership Team of The American University of Paris (AUP), consists of five officers who manage AUP’s administrative functions and report directly to the President of the University. Within each of their areas of responsibility – Academic Affairs; Finance and Administration; Student Services; Enrollment Management; and Communications & Outreach – these senior administrators work to execute the University’s strategic goals and initiatives.

AUP is committed to creating fundraising opportunities to support the University’s mission and strategic ambitions. The University is also committed to complying with all French fundraising laws, especially those regarding solicitations via the Internet. This policy articulates AUP guidelines and policies related to the solicitation and acceptance of charitable gifts via the Internet by the American University of Paris.

BP023EN - Non-Discrimination

The University promotes its educational goals and preserves the human rights of each of its members, notably by safeguarding freedom from discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation or gender identity. These values are affirmed by French law and Article 10, which ban expressions that incite discrimination, that propagate the idea of a superior race, and that spread hatred against specific groups.
